Practical, steadfast Look at the numbers overall as a developmental cycle from simple to complex. Each number represents a stage, proportion, or phase of each element. Lower numbers depict beginnings, initial stages, and early aspects of a process. They are also simpler, and show the element in it's purer forms. Higher numbers show completion and near completion, as well as the struggles faced near the end of a process. Higher numbers are are either more developed or more obscure, as the Element becomes denser In the middle are transitory and rest stages, places to reconsider and evaluate plans, efforts, rewards, and resources. These mid-points can also show challenges and supports, as well as opportunities for change. Odd Numbers are generally less stable, and denote change and movement. These are often transitions between phases. Even Numbers tend to be more balanced and are generally more stable. Usually, they represent pauses along the course of any process. Court Cards represent the completion of one Elemental cycle and beginning of another, or the merging of two elements in the cycle.
